Anybody going to watch this or interested in where the ladies are playing? I kind of am. It's always good for a program to make it to the NCAA's, and the women were in the NIT last year as well...this is a big jump for them.

I'm hoping they can secure at least a 5 or 6 seed....Show starts in about 30 minutes.

Looks like they're a 6 seed playing TCU in New Jersey

The bracket can be found here.

A&M is a 6 seed, playing #11 TCU. We play the winner of #3 Rutgers/#14 Dartmouth if we advance. To make it to the Elite 8, we'd have to topple #2 Tennessee if we made it that far, and the #1 seed in our bracked (if we made Final Four), would be North Carolina.

That's a tough bracket....

A sweet 16 appearance would be great this year to get some tournament experience with such a young team. An Elite 8 would be great!

With the core of soph's or younger in Atunrase, Franklin, Starks, Micheaux, Reado, Gant, and the recruiting class Coach Blair is bringing in...

This will be a fun team to watch for the next several years.

Damnit. I think both our men's & women's teams are in the toughest brackets. Rutgers, Tenn, & UNC all in the same bracket....WOW! I think winning two games though is very likely.

I agree with Vlyrock, we are in a tough bracket. We are traveling to New Jersey to play TCU. What makes it even tougher is that I believe we are playing on Rutger's (probable 2nd round opponent) home court. Right or wrong? A victory there would take us on to Cleveland with Tennessee as the most likely foe. Not easy but possible.

First things first. Beat the h*ll out of TCU! In any event, good experience and exposure for next year.

Dumb question, but does both basketball teams making the NCAA tourney make the T-Star logo more marketable? Will that be used for our logos on graphics and such? Just wondering...I figured people outside of Texas wouldn't know who the T-star was...so maybe this is a good opportunity to display it on a national stage (in both men's and women's).
