I don't think the t.u/OU game really effects us. If OU wins, then we lost 2 games to the #2 seed in the tourney by a total of 9 points (one of which was a 1 point game that we should've won). If t.u. wins then we beat the Big XII conference regular season champion.

fsu won... a fsu loss would have helped us.

UAB, Texas A&M and Miami are all in the same boat. Our records and RPI are very similar, and we each have one big win. I think that if Texas moves up, that makes our big win bigger.
OU will be RPI top 50 no matter what. However, #2 Big XII seed is only a title. Things like that don't show up on RPI. Good losses help a little, but good wins help more. I'd rather our good win be stronger.

Just think, if tu loses (and thus ends up as the #2 seed) we could meet them in the Big 12 Championship Game. That would be one hell of a game.

Actually, if t.u. loses they would drop to the #3 seed.

Well, Missouri just upset Nebraska meaning they got the #11 seed. Colorado will now play Baylor in the first round (which is what I wanted)...
For one, Baylor won't really help them if they win considering they haven't played a lot of game and have a bad record...but also, I think Baylor has a better chance of winning vs Colorado.

I hope baylor wins since I think we need any win more than we need a quality win. And the way I see it, even if (god forbid) we lost to baylor, its either gonna be us dancing, or the b12 only gets 3. I think may selectors would think the b12 deserves 4 in the end. However if a bunch of bubble teams do well, then we could be screwed.

First post now completely updated.
Syracuse losing was VERY GOOD. Florida State and Arkansas winning was VERY BAD.
Also, Gonzaga will screw us over if they don't win their conference tournament. They beat lowly San Diego in OT today.

If they lose in the first round of the SEC tourney, they won't be in...

Possibly, but not exactly a lock. We now have an outside shot of them being knocked out if they lose the first round of the SEC tournament.
Any game that could possibly make a difference for us was included on that list. St. John's wass pretty much out, but today's loss permanently popped their bubble.
Syracuse, Arkansas, UAB and Florida State are the most important competitors to us for bubble spot. It's also really important that Gonzaga wins their conference tournament and we really hope that the MVC only gets 4 teams(possible 6).
