From yahoo sports:

Texas A&M quarterback Reggie McNeal and Arizona State wide receiver Derek Hagan really opened some eyes Sunday, running great 40-yard dash times.
McNeal tied for the combine's second-fastest time (4.35 seconds), and he'll have NFL teams pushing him to show what he can do at wide receiver in his personal workouts. McNeal wasn't a particularly accurate passer for the Aggies, but his size (6-2, 205) and speed would make him a very attractive wideout if he could make the transition. He said earlier in the week that he'd be open to making the switch.

He as the talent to play anywhere. I would love to see what he can do at QB at the next level.

He'll get a shot at QB, but very well may end up at WR.

Well I'd rather him be a productive WR in the mold of Antwawn Randle El than a bust at QB which even vince young could turn out to be as far as most everybody has their head up his ass. Nothing is a given and there have been tons of quarterbacks be badass in college and just not be able to make the transition to the big leagues. I'm not saying vince will be a bust, and i'm not saying reggie will be, but if it needs to be done, i would rather him be a succesfull WR than nothing at all

I'd be disappointed if he doesn't at least get a shot at QB, because I really think he can succed there in the NFL. However, if he ends up as a WR and does well, it's not a big deal. I'm pretty sure Georgia fans are pretty satisfied with Hines Ward's transition to WR. Indiana fans probably feel the same about Randel-El.

Reggie's got the tools. But he needs to be a better leader to succeed at QB.

And damn, if he ends up at WR, he'd be faster than Hines and Randle-El combined.

Yeah, but here is what really pisses me off about this whole situation. One of the biggest problems with Reggie's attitude this year had to do with the fact that he didn't like the offense we were running because he wanted to show that he was a QB & wanted to show off his arm. Well, when he had the chances he let them slip away (except for the Shriner's Game) but still managed to bring the team down with the way he handled the situation. Now, all of a sudden, he is open to the change. Reggie makes me mad!

He's most likely open to change because it means the difference between having food on the table or not having food on the table.

Sometimes you have to do what you have to do to get paid.

For what it is worth I think he will get a good look at QB. I just can't see Quincy Carter getting that chance and Reggie not.

I agree...if a team said, we'll draft you in the 6th round as a QB, or pick you in the 2nd round as a WR (meaning a good $1-2 million difference...I'd be open to switching too. :)

A certain QB from Nebraska was open to the switch too, and look how that turned out. Reggie is a much better passer than he was.

You talking about Crouch? He wasn't really open to it. Matt Jones of Arkansas was open to it and it's paid off big for him.

Actually, Crouch was open to it in the weeks leading up to the draft. It wasn't until training camp that he decided that QB was the only position for him. He later said that telling teams he was willing to play WR is the biggest regret of his life.

Matt Jones made the switch and I think he'll do well as a WR. Hines Ward and Antwaan Randel-El are perfect examples of what a QB-turned-WR should be.

You need to replace the word food in your post with weed. :)

Where did the information of Reggie being a disruption to the team come from? I see it on all types of boards, but I have not heard or seen anything from a credible source. I would like to see him get a shot at quarterback.

The info comes from inside the team. I am family friends with one of our starting OL and he confirmed everything that is posted on the boards that you have read.
