Was reading through the SI from May 16th...found this in an article about the Top 25 Sports High Schools In America (page 66)

#23 Baylor (Chattanooga)

In a hypothetical matchup between this Baylor and Baylor University, the high school might just hold its own.

I'm not sure they would've written this if it had been Syracuse High School, Iowa High School, or even Nevada High School.

Made me laugh that even national SI writers think of (main sport) Baylor athletics as a joke.

What are we "jealous" of? Media hype? Every preseason Texas is touted as a national title contender, yet you haven't even won a conference title since 1996. Until Texas can win a conference title of some kind, I can't take them seriously as a national contender.

I hope Texas is undefeated coming to Kyle. For us to beat Texas out of a national championship game would be a dream. However, Ohio State and Oklahoma will surely beat you first. :(

Glad you're on the board and posting. It's fun to have rivals on the board, as they spice things up and add a different perspective. Disagreeing is normal, even a little trash talk -- but please keep it relevant (i.e. we've won blah, blah) and avoid pointless/flame material.

Example: bonfireU (this just shows poor taste and lacks class -- the bonfire accident was tragic regardless of what school you root for)

This board is for posters that care about sports and can get past the big penis complexes most posters on other sites have (i.e. my school is better just because). Post on topic stuff and save the flaming for Texags or Hornfans. If you have any questions, let me know.

Ags that read this, same goes for you. Avoid getting caught up in the big penis contests and flame posts (also, don't post 'em). I'm sure everybody knows what we want this site to be and where we want it to go.

I would have put it a little different. Probably wouldn't have mentioned big penis cause you might turn on any poster from hornfans that are on the board and make them even fiestier. But besides that it was pretty decent, I wouldn't call Guiness just yet but I think you'll get it down.

I was not making reference to ags as bonfireU to hurt anyones feelings, I always have always referred to them this way even before the bonfire incident. If this offended any of you I apologize for that was not my intent, and I will not use the term in the future.

The only rules that we have on this site are basically no porn and no personal attacks. I was just trying to interject before it turned to that (more than likely it would've been the second one) :p

I don't expect Horns and Ags to hold hands on this site...a rivalry is a rivalry...I just want to keep it under control, like a rivalry among friends.
