Texas A&M keeps the 84 year-old tradition of the "12th Man."

Seattle gets to call their fans the "12 men," since that's all that showed up for the Super Bowl. Texas A&M has never been outnumbered like that in a neutral site game.

Absolutely pathetic, and they really are proud of their fan support?

Yeah, but I think our claim to the "12th Man" is that much stronger when the team is down. I was at that game long enough to see UT receive their Cotton Bowl trophies.

We are ALWAYS there in support of our team. No matter where in the country it is, ALL of our bowl games(no matter how big or how small) are well-represented by Aggies. We will never be embarrassed across the nation for making up only 10% of a neutral site crowd.

Did the game seem really quiet to anyone? I know there were not a lot of seattle fans there but there were plenty of Steelers fans. It seemed pretty quiet for the most part for a Super Bowl or a football game in general.

All the superbowls are fairly quiet, because 50 percent of the "fans" are actually business/corporate groups that get tickets/boxes/etc. Its never 50/50 of each team's fans like it would be at a college bowl game. Its too bad really.

The majority of those Steeler fans were t-shirt Steeler fans.... Pretty much Detroit fans in Sheeps Clothing because of the bus.

But saying Seattle had 12 Men (fans) there is a bit of an OVERstatement. Hell my lil brothers Junior High Football team has more fans that make more noise than that...

That was a Freakin Joke to see a group of people who want to claim part of our 12th Man tradition give little to no effort.
