Martellus Bennett Trying NBA Draft!

I don't subscribe there. Did he sign an agent or is he just testing the waters? I don't see how going into the draft could help him at all right now. From what I've heard, he's not a 1st round pick (which basically means you're guaranteed nothing).

Anybody have more info?

I found this quote from his dad:
"Martellus has decided to declare for the NBA," Michael Bennett Sr., Martellus' father said. "He's not signing with an agent, so he can come back and play in college if he chooses to. We're just now trying to put some feelers out there."


Odds are, we'll have nothing to worry about. He may bolt after one year at the college level, but I don't think his draft placement will warrant him giving up a year of college football and basketball.
