Here come the ags though. We're starting to pick it up. Walker is busting his ass as usual and the rest of the guys are really picking it up

Pompey is really busting his ass. Can't settle for the perimeter shoots, have to get Bennett inside, need drives to the rack by Law, Smith, Kirk. The need to push it and drive it inside.

Now we're up. Hard Nose Basketball will get it done everytime. This team is really playing hard right now on both ends of the court.

Great game defensively...some of those called fouls were questionable though...but the win was great! :gig:

This team has HEART! zero quit, with JJ a non factor and a pathetic first half, they still pull it out. I'm speechless with our defense, it is intense!
Read into this what you will, but our basketball team is a direct reflection of their COACH!

Defense wins Chips... and if they can play like that against the big boys come the Big 12 Tournament.... a March Madness sighting is not out of the question.

If they play with the intensity they played in the 2nd half the rest of the season, a march madness appearance is a guarantee. They can beat anybody if they play like they did in the second half. It won't happen, that would be impossible, but they sure have the heart and showed it tonight.

This was a huge win.... only because home games are must wins and when we play as badly as we did in the first half and still manage to win is amazing.

Win 7 of 9 home games, pick up a couple on the road, and win a couple in the conference tourney and we will go to the big dance.

Reed got pretty loud there in the second half! What a comeback! That defense is unbelievable.

Was the game sold out? The bf slept late, as always, and I wasn't sure if we'd get tickets so we didn't go.

Maybe I am way off base on this, but part of me thinks that there was something wrong with the rim on the part of the court that we shot at in the 1st half and tech shot at in the 2nd. Not that our defense wasn't great in the 2nd half, but every shot put up on that side of the court by either team clanked like I have never seen before. It was so loud on TV every time the ball hit the rim. Made me wonder if there was something wrong with the basket that contributed to the awful shooting by both teams at that basket.

I thought that too while watching...the clanking was loud....I wouldn't be surprised to find out it was broken or loose...
It just didn't sound the same compared to the other rim where all the points were scored.

Either way it was still a fair game since we both had to play with it.
