I was in China Mart, I mean Wal Mart this afternoon and saw the poster advertising a Jan. 20 release date for NCAA Baseball '06. Just FYI if any of you guys are interested.

I heard that it is not going to be that great. I think its cool that they are doing a college baseball game, but the only reason they are doing it is b/c they lost their MLB license.

Well, you have to start from somewhere. I'm glad that they are starting this, it could be pretty cool in later years. Remember how bad college basketball games were when they started making them about 10 years ago?

Hey, you guys need to keep things in perspective. There is no comparison between what was available in 1991 vs 2006. Can you imagine what we'll have in a few years time?

I haven't heard anything about it....just seen the screen shots. I'll buy it & probably end up playing the hell out of it.

Picky picky picky. But I'd settle for the train by the tracks, or it rumbling by on a home run.

As long as we don't have cheerleaders like in NCAA Football.

I heard the top 15 conferences in the nation will have all the teams and stadiums in the top 10. 11-15 will have teams but be generic ballparks. Just what I overheard at GameStop. Either way, I'm buying it and will probably play the hell out of it like Dustin.

I think I am going to get it and build Olsen Field if need be.

Olsen is not in the game, nor is the Southland Conference. There is only about 20-30 actual stadiums in the game, everything else is generic. The Aggies play in Forrest Park (generic field with a forrest for a background). The game is really cool, but it is hard as hell to figure out the hitting. You have to use the joysticks now to hit and throw. Kind of a pain in the arse. Cool game though.

you can change the hitting style to use a to begin learning how to play the game but the joystick is awesome!!!

No Olsen sucks. They should have researched it more when they made the game. I know we have sucked lately, but Olsen is a top 5 stadium in the NCAA.
