Pacific Wins 63-56
A&M took it's perfect record on the road to Stockton, California, where they faced off with the Pacific Tigers. After trailing by one at the half, the Aggies couldn't close the gap, eventually falling by 7 to the tough Tigers, 63-56. The Aggies had no answer for Johnny Gray III of Pacific, who shot 7-10 from the field (5-7 from 3-PT land) and finished with 28 points for Pacific.

Three Aggies scored in double digits (Josh Carter (13), Joseph Jones (13), and Acie Law (10)). The only Aggie not to score in this game was Martellus Bennett, who shot 0-2 from the field.

This was the first loss in non-conference play for the Ags in 2 seasons after they finished undefeated last year in non-conference play. It was also the final non-conference game as the games that really matter, start January 7th for the Aggies. The up and down Red Raiders visit Reed Arena and the Aggies look to make a statement to doubters and the media who aren't impressed with the Aggies fast start. The strength of schedule is usually the indicator and quite honestly, the tough opponents haven't been there. The Aggies proved last year, that didn't matter. The Aggies opened at Kansas last year and almost knocked off the Jayhawks at home, then 2 games later, they knocked off #7 Texas in Reed Arena.

The Aggies look to improve on last year's 8-8 conference record, and that can all start Jan 7th as Texas Tech comes to Reed in the conference opener.
