I don't think they will go on sale until the deal for the Alamodome is "official." According to BB's Weekly Wednesday a few weeks ago, the contract has not been officially signed.

Keep an eye on the events calendar on the Alamodome's site. It's not showing any events that far out.

Holy Cow!!!!!
Those prices can't be right. I believe I'll wait to see what gets offered through the A&M ticket office or 12th Man.
With prices like that, I doubt they'll sell too many. That's insane.

Very steep. Way more than this poor college student can afford.

and way more than this alum is willing give for 2 tickets plus hotel, gas, food, etc.

Surely we'll get less expensive offerings through the ticket office on campus.

I find it all a little dodgy given that tickets have not gone on sale for any Aggie football game yet and the Alamodome isn't selling them so just where are these supposed tickets coming from?

Funny how the sections those seats are supposed to be located in are not showing up on the seating map....hmmmm.

That seating map is from when the Spurs played there(look at the picture of the bball court on the map). Back then, half the stadium was blocked by a giant tarp.

You can get 35.00 tickets if you know a dentist that will be attending classes at the Dental School that weekend. SADS is offering 35.00 tickets to anyone attending those classes.

To be honest, I'd rather watch the game on ESPN than pay $80 for 2 crappy seats in the upper corners of the Alamodome. I went there a long time ago to see the Rockets play the Spurs, and I can't imagine how bad a view those top seats would have.

For two people to go to that game, the combined price of tickets, parking, dinner and gas would probably be about $150. I can't afford to spend that much to watch us play Army from awful seats. The fact that this is on ESPN makes that decision much easier.

I just hope they don't royally screw the students with bad seats. NPLAggie and I got tickets, and they haven't told us where we're sitting yet. We won't know until like July what chunk is leftover for us.

I agree with Loftin. Think I will be watching this one on tv. Most of the time, the best seats are given to corporate sponsors and the true fans get shoved into what is left. Games like this always make you feel like it is a road game and not just a neutral site.
