Well, I had a ton of fun with the derby contest thing we did. What do you guys think about another contest for the second leg of the triple crown. Same drill as before, I thought Vly's rule were pretty good. Same thing as before, I'll send Vly the $25 MO, but this time will have a bit more time to get ready. Guess we won't be able to post the field until the week of the race. Good idea or bad idea?

I'm okay with it. I just don't want you to have to do this all the time. Don't want it to cost you every time there's a sporting event going on. :)

But anytime there's a chance at free money..I'm down. :D

$25 bucks isn't that big of a deal Vly. I just think it makes the race a bit more fun. Besides we will only do this once a year, when the triple crown comes around. It will become the first of many Aggiefans.com "traditions" :D . It really isn't that big of a deal to me, I just wanted to make sure everyone was interested in it, or if they thought it was a bad idea :p , wouldn't hurt my feeling if you all thought it was a bad idea, heck it sure would be the first one :) , or the last for that matter :undecided

All the horses haven't been announced, but the early favorite is going to be Afleet Alex. They also expect to have a full field of 14.

If he goes off at a 50-1 underdog again though, is it worth putting $2 on him?

Yeah...if he goes back up at 50-1 then I would be all over it. I just don't think that he can repeat.
