I went... it wasnt as close as the score indicated. Joe and Acie both started off very slow but picked it up in the second half. It was very sloppy tonight and the refs were calling VERY close.

I was there. Great game!! Auburn has a pretty good team...they played tough. Joseph and Acie did start off slow like jago mentioned...but they both had a great game and really carried this team down the stretch. Joseph was really on tonight...especially in the 2nd half. He had some key rebounds and 2nd-effort shots. The refs were most definitely making some VERY close calls. There were several travels that should have been called on Auburn (in my opinion) but weren't called. But a win is a win. We beat a decent 5-2 Auburn team. We're getting it together.

I went tonight. Tough and at times pretty dang physical. We are getting there. Take note: Northwestern State, whom we'll see New Year's Eve Day took Iowa State to 2OTs tonight. They have already beaten Oklahoma State in Stillwater.

They also beat 5-4 Oregon State on their court. That's a pretty good team they've got (Northwestern State)

I was there. There were a lot more Auburn fans there than I was expecting, but that's great that they came. Auburn was never really on fire the whole game. A&M went ahead when we played great, and Auburn closed the gap when we got sloppy. We led the entire game, with only 2-3 ties. Martellus had an off night, but Acie and JoJo were all we needed.

As I was walking up to Reed (I parked at Olsen) I saw a small tailgate party. Near the sidewalk. Was that any of you guys?

Good deal...sounds like we played a decent game. I just want this team to keep it rolling. I want to go into conference play with alot of confidence.

I drove up and went to my first game this year - A couple of things - I don't know why Auburn didn't play their 1-3-1 half court zone in the 2nd half - It was giving us lots of trouble in the first half - Keeping Joe & Acie down - Joe is a man! - Hopefully he will see what AW is going through a& stay 4 yrs - He took over when they went to man in the 2nd half - Red White can stroke it! - Josh Carter needs to have his feet ready to shoot the ball when he is getting a pass - We could have used his shot against the zone - I know everyone loves CWalker and he plays hard but I would like to Tellus get his minutes - Pompey is a great defener - Freshman DDevesin needs to pull his pants up (didn't dress for game) - How about the chubby guy falling down during musical chairs and exposing about 5 inches of his crack to the crowd? - Auburn plays a lot of freshman - I think we play a their place next year - Did you know that Auburn had an RPI ranking of 17? - Merry Christmas.

I noticed that in the program...not bad at all. I was impressed at the number of Auburn fans at the game. I'm sure there were a few who live around this part of Texas that decided to make the trip. I didn't notice any hotheads...which would have surprised me. I've always heard very good things about Auburn and their fans. Auburn is one of those schools that I always root for as long as they're not playing the Aggies.

This win can be huge come late February when they're making march madness selections. If Auburn can keep winning and finish with a decent win -- this could be one of those good wins that help make us a better pick over somebody else (Pacific is another one)...we need to win all the other non-conf ones though to avoid those "bad losses" that keeps teams out. At this point, even a loss to Northwestern St would be bad cause yes, they're a tough team, but they aren't going to be "good" by the end of the season (IMO)

I agree Vly, we really do need to finish non-conference undefeated to have a chance at the Big Dance.
