This was a hit on the proborads site...........
What are your predictions/expectations for next season?
I would love to see us 11-0, but I think 9-2 is realistic (really tough road games)

I agree...9-2 is expected. The losses come either at OU, Tech, or at Kyle vs Texas. Honestly, all the rest, we should win. A 10-1 season would go...and a 11-0 season would be a miracle.

In my opinion we will be 8-3 at the WORST. We still have that tough stretch to end the season like last year though.

9/3 @Clemson W, in a close one
9/17 SMU W
9/24 Texas State W
10/1 Baylor W
10/8 @Colorado L
10/15 OSU W
10/22 @KSU W
10/29 ISU W
11/5 @tceh L
11/12 @OU L
11/25 tu W
Predict 8-3; however I can see us maybe winning at cu (called it a loss b/c we always seem to have trouble up in Boulder), could also see us winning at tceh (this game is fairly even, and we will see what happens with their qb situation). So, 10-1 is possible.

9-2 with losses to OU and Tech or Texas.

Undefeated National Champions! (I could die a happy man having had seen this in my life)
Realisticly, 9-2. 8 wins or less and I would be completely unsatisfied.

I expect 9-2, but I can see 10-1 happening. If we go 11-0 then we truly know that God is an Aggie.

@Clemson - W (should be close because of environment, but I think we are too much more talented to lose)
vs. SMU - W (cupcake should be easy)
vs. TSU - W (why do we even schedule them?)
vs. Baylor - W (Revenge game, should be a blowout)
@ Colorado - W (We play them better at their place than we do at Kyle)
vs. OSU - W (They are rebuilding, we should be able to handle them)
@K-State - W (Without having to focus on Sproles, we should shut down what little offense they have.)
vs. ISU - W (We had an easy time at their place, so playing them at Kyle is no problem)
@Texas Tech - L (really a toss up, but we don't usually fair well in Lubbock)
@OU - L (We are better, but 77-0 is hard to bounce back from. We don't win in Norman very often)
vs. Texas - W (I really honestly feel like this is the year that we finally break that streak. Five straight losses is too many.)
There you go 9-2 is my prediction. I think we can drop as low as 7-4 or do as well as 10-1, but 9-2 seems the most likely to me.

Though Texas Tech has turned out to be a fairly consistent, solid program, I really do believe that they get way too much credit.
I browse through team boards and I see Sips fans admitted they could lose to Tech, OSU fans saying they will lose to them, and even OU fans worrying a lot about them.
Through it all, they will only win 7-8 games.
Great ending to the year does not mean success for the following year.
