Regardless of how the ratings may go up or down, the coaching and training staffs will hone them into shape to maximize their potential. If someone is downgraded from four to three stars, what does that REALLY mean? Upon what do they base those stars? Is it performance based? So if a four star recruit has a couple of crappy games the ratings can go down? I think raw talent, if present, can be enhanced with the right coaching and proper strength and agility training. Obviously I don't know jack about this subject so I'll just hush the hell up now. haha

It is interesting that it happened but I try and not to look at the star rankings of players. There have been too many times that I have been dissapointed when a highly ranked player dosen't work out. But, there are times where low ranked players turn out to be good. The one that comes to mind is T-Murph, I believe he was a 2 star or 3 star coming out of high school. The two players that you mentioned however I have heard good things about from various boards, so I wouldn't worry about too much.
