Sweet. Just hope the boy makes the right decision. Its seems clear to me. Besides, what does USC and Miami know about developing running backs???

Saw that, Mr. Goodson changes his mind alot. Aggie Delta Sig 99, who also post here, posted on TexAgs, that there is a first hand account from Goodson's dad, that he will sign with the Aggies. The speculation in recruiting is always fun. We need a stellar RB, but more importantly we need a few bluechip LB. We shall see.

I wish he'd announce now so that we can use his coming as motivation to get other players here. They'd be more willing to sign knowing they'll be coming in with a good class and good players... :gig: glad to see he's starting to come to his senses...I'm guessing we benefited because OSU had a worse season than we did. :)

Yeah i'd bet that he signs with us. The more pressing issue is the fact that we need LB's bad. I hope we can get the kid from Haltom(his name slips my mind). But from what i recently saw somewhere we're not in the running anymore for the guy from dallas. We gotta get something though or we might get ourselves in a little bit of a pickle, and end up with walk ons playing again who can't keep up with first team talent.(see scott stickane) I'm not doggin on the guy, he played with heart and grit, but he just couldn't keep up with anybody and never really seemed to be in the right spot or get the D set right

As I said in a prior posting where we discussed MG, there is a long way to go. I really don't expect him to recommit to OSU, but I'd still say that USC is most likely the front runner at this point.
The wild card in all of this is Miami. In January he'll have his visit. Guess what also happens in January on the U campus? All their NFL players go back and start their workout programs. So guys like McGahee, Santana Moss, Ray Lewis, etc all on campus doing their thing while recruits happen to be scheduled to come on campus. That is why every year Miami seems to make HUGE headway on their recruiting in the last month.

How about some real depth in the entire defense? Blue chip everything: safeties, corners, linebackers, linemen.... stacked three deep with enormous talent to the point where nobody even knows who the starters are gonna be from week to week. haha..hahahaha....hahahahahahahaha...hahahahahaaha haha..
****. Sorry. Momentary lapse of sanity.

Problem with your theory about Miami is that most of them won't be there when he takes his visit, if he still does. He can visit all he wants after he commits, but I read this morning that he has said he'll most likely make his announcement at the Army High School All-Star game, and I think that's on like the 7th of January if i'm remembering correct and the NFL will just be done by then, so i doubt many will be on campus. That being said, they are still the wildcard and the visit alone without NFL stars could convince him. I still think he ends up in Maroon and White. :gig:
