Titans give Jason White a shot at 2-year deal

The Titans were impressed with White's workouts in KC and have invited him to training camp. He could possibly still be cut while there, but if he survives, he will receive a 2 year deal. They're still waiting to hear from him.

Please excuse my ignorance, how do the Titans know what White did at the Chief camp, are these things just open to the public? Is it a common practice for teams to send scouts to other teams camps, I guess to check out free-agent who might get cut?

Basically, it says the Chiefs were impressed with his workout but didn't have a spot for him. They said they'd share his workout tapes with any interested team and give a good recommendation.

I read on Texags that the Titans signed him. I'm not sure how reliable that is, but I can't find anything that's saying he's signed.
