On now, starters will be Law, Walker, Smith, Kirk, and Jones. No Pompey and no Carter in the starting lineup.

Shaky start for us, and J Jones is hurt not in the game. We lead now 29-19 with 7:43 in the first half.

Tellus is having a coming out party, he is putting on a clinic, too strong for Grambling.

101 Ags Grambling 71, wow, Jones only played a minute, Acie was elbowed in the face and didn't play much, and we still pour it on. Tellus and Carter on fire, great distribution of points.

Tellus scored double figures for the first time in his career...Glad to see the offense returned...now gotta have the D shut 'em down even more. :) Can't complain though about a 30 pt win. :gig:

The fouls are still being called close...
Josh Carter was named Offensive Player of the Game
Martellus Bennett was named the Defensive Player of the Game

Awesome game, pathetic attendance 4759 I think. That is not acceptable. Man Carter was perfect from behind the arc, and Tellus took it to the rack with authority, he is coming into his own.

The refs were awful and so was the attendence. Martellus really looks to isolate a defender and take a shot every time he touches the ball, something I've never seen a Billy Gillispie-coached player do before. But, seeing how he did, I won't complain. Antanas looks like Yao Ming in a bad game, every game. He has the height advantage and gets lots of rebounds and tip ins, but he also plays soft and gets pushed around pretty easily. Considering that JoJo didn't play and Acie got hurt early, I'd say we did pretty well.

Ya'll got stats for the game? I could be not lazy and go find them, but i'm just in lazy mode today

It was great to see the Ags win without JoJo and Acie. I still think we need both of them in conference play, but it was awesome to see the team still pour it on without those two. I am a little upset about the attendance too. This team plays hard and they are exciting to watch. Does anyone know how we are doing with attendance compared to last season during non-conference play (are we averaging more or less?)

I think we're averaging more (just carry over from last year's success) because to start the season, nobody expected a 10-0 start...
(I don't have stats to back that up...)
