Phil Jackson & The Lakers...AGAIN?

Lakers owner Jerry Buss says that the list for coach candidates is short and on that list is Phil Jackson. Buss says he thinks Phil wants to return to coaching (but maybe not next season).

Here's why Phil Jackson is a smart man. He had Shaq/Kobe, Lakers trade Shaq, Phil recognizes team will suck...he leaves, team misses playoffs. He comes back, small improvement gets them into the playoffs. He's then called the greatest coach ever (might not happen this way, but it could be what he had in mind.)

But, would he really go back to just Kobe? I doubt it.

I've alway wondered how good of a coach Jackson really is. I would like for some team to pick him up that isn't loaded with superstars and see what he can do. With the Bulls he had Jordan and Pippen and the Lakers he had O'Neal and Bryant. I'm not trying to knock him and his triangle offense, just curious to see what he could do with "normal" players. Of course he isn't stupid either he would probably not take a job if he did not have superstars.
