Tonight at 7:00 pm, damn my day is going to go slow until the radio broadcast kickoff at 6:45 pm. I made the mistake of going to the UNT Athletic webpage, don't laugh at me but.....................I had the speakers on the computer up full blast, and when you first link to their athletic page, you hear the shrill cry of an eagle, my damn ears are still ringing and all I hear is a buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. :confused: Gig'em Aggies, and BTHOnt!

I'm very curious about the line ups and more importantly our players coming of the bench, I was a bit shocked that Tellus came of the bench first rather than Edjuan. Great for Martellus, disappointing for Edjuan, I really thought he would have picked it up this year, but he either isn't getting the schemes or for one reason or another is in the doghouse. Pompey is doing what I expected Edjuan to do this year. Guess we shall see. IMHO, Edjuan needs to really pick it up because next year we have Elonu and Davis that will outcompete him.

2. Good luck on your finals, and you right, it is unAmerican to schedule a final that conflicts with an Aggie sporting event. :D

I would like see Tellus in the starting lineup at some point - I think he could play the 3 against some teams - What scares me is tu - the have Aldridge at the 5 and Buckman at the 4 - we can match up with them there - but are we going to match up Carter with Tucker at the 3?

Virginia Tech almost beat Duke. I wouldn't be shocked if Texas did. I don't think they will personally (rivalry aside)...but they have talent. I agree that I don't think they're a #2 team come year-end...but honestly, everybody else is losing right now so there's not a lot of teams to come take it from 'em.

KatyJay I can tell you like and follow basketball closely. :) We didn't have to account for Tucker last year due to his academics but I share your concerns. The sips have some size that is for sure, I think that Gillispie will account for Tucker with some "guarding by committee" if you will. Tucker is 6'5" about 225, my best guess on the body we will put on him will be Pompey, Walker, AK, Green, and Tellus. A line up of Law, Carter, Pompey, AK, and Jones, and I like my chances. You rest JoJo and leave AK and plug in Bennett, Green, Walker. Lots of combos we can go with. You are right, tu is tough, but I like our personnel better this year than last, at least we have some depth. Oh by the way, this is just MdAgs opinion, but tu losing to Duke means nothing, too early in the season.

Yeah, I was in class...checked on it during my break and the Ags had a 2 pt lead with 6:00 to go...so, where'd our 80 pt offense go from the first 3 games?

I mean, most importantly now is the W, and I guess you can say that close games help you grow as a team and help in future pressure situations, but I think I'd like to win by a lot more. I did learn something though -- from here on out, when the Ags are favored by +15, I'm laying the points on the other team...but parlaying it with the Ags on the money line. :)
