hes an idiot though... he puts in specs for something that isnt in the box so any money he makes will get retracted. Had he only put specs on the box he might have gotten away with it.

No matter how clear he was in the description (which is pretty dang clear), there's an obvious attempt to confuse the bidder later with the specs of the items not included. The posted picture is also intended to confuse...2 reason for Ebay to pull it.

yeah the specs is a no no. I mean, he didn't need IMO, ppl would obviously still go after it.

I find it funny that he just made the box himself.

He'll get away with it, there are only two rules concerning what he's doing:
1. Misleading titles
Sellers are not permitted to create titles for their listings that do not accurately describe the item for sale.
Violations of this policy may result in a range of actions, including:
*
Listing cancellation
*
Limits on account privileges
*
Account suspension
*
Forfeit of eBay fees on cancelled listings
*
Loss of PowerSeller status
2. No Item Listings
Listings not offering an item or service for sale are not permitted on eBay. These types of listings include but are not limited to:
*
Listings where the buyer cannot verify the existence of the item upon receipt of the item
*
Listings with the apparent, primary purpose of expressing the seller’s personal views
*
Signposts – listings primarily meant to direct a user to a seller’s store or other listings
*
Want Ads – unless they are posted in the Want It Now Format
Violations of this policy may result in a range of actions, including:
*
Listing or Want It Now post cancellation
*
Limits on account privileges
*
Account suspension
*
Forfeit of eBay fees on cancelled listings
*
Loss of PowerSeller status
He has a clear title and there is something he's selling. It's a totally legal ad. Whoever bought it will probably have to shell out the cash.

Don't think it is tha simple -- he's been NARU'd (Not a Registered User) since it's ended. I bet eBay is trying to cut down on this type of thing.
