"Personally, I would recommend to him if it's really something he wants to do, to go and take a run at the arena league and get more work in at playing football," Chiefs Coach Dick Vermeil said Sunday. "Maybe go to Canada (Canadian Football League), come back and try again and have a go."White said he wasn't interested in playing in football's minor leagues.

"He's got his own opinion," White said. "Whatever he thinks. I saw how I matched up with other NFL rookies."

They said overall he did better than they thought he would and he impressed them with his accuracy. They just didn't have a roster spot with 3 veteran QB's and the 7th round draft pick Killian from Tulsa. Said they'd share his practice tapes with any team showing interest and would give a 'favorable recommendation'.

Well if they give him a good recommendation, sometimes that's all you need

Jason, you didn't get drafted and no one wants you.

Not everyone is wrong, you are. Deal with it.

His knees are already toast, so maybe he ought to consider a career in the working world, so that he will still be walking at age 75.

That Flowers guy from the Cowboys that season they were on Hard Knocks got high recommendations from the coaches. However, I don't think I have seen him on any teams since then.
