any thoughts on the game last night
did the refs bad calls in the end of the game give the Mavs the win or better yet give the Rockets an opportunity to win........ NO but it had a big part because of when it happened. Also a lot of people are missing the fact that the ref called a foul on Howard near the end of the game when Dirk clearly fouled Yao and should have been out of the game. Did the Rockets make mistakes? Yes definitely missed big free throws late and surrendered many rebounds to the Mavs in the early part of the game. The Mavs also made mistakes throughout the game and they had the opportunity to make of that. The bad calls in the end of the game took some opportunities away from the Rockets to win the game.
I think the whole 100,000 fine was interesting to say the least. Usually complaints like this go unnoticed with makes me wonder how much of this is "not true". It will be interesting how it all turns out. Supposely a big part of the reason why he was fined was because Van Gundy wouldn't reveal his source who told him everything. Now if all of this is untrue, why would you fine someone so much for not revealing who said it.
