So much for all that work Fran was supposedly doing with him, he changed his commitment from Florida or wherever to the sips this past weekend. This year I find myself wondering if Fran is even trying to recruit top prospects??? Supposedly this was the guy he wanted too.

The other thing that gets me, is why do all these guys think they are ever gonna step on the field at texas?

Snead will see the field big time for the sips. The only competition he has is Colt McCoy. This guy is a 2A QB that hasn't played in front of 800 people, let alone 80,000. My money says that Snead won't even redshirt next year and will be starting my mid season.

I agree with P-ville that he will start by mid-season if he signs with t.u., but I'm still not convinced that Snead stays committed to the sips.

Yeah i didn't mean that snead wouldn't play, i meant the other guys that they have recruited. Snead is the real deal. Well he'll only be starting if vy goes to the nfl.

Looking at their recruits it just looks like they have a buttload of players at all the positions, which is kind of scary

I forgot to say that he'd be starting next year if VY leaves early. If Young stays, then Snead starts as a redshirt fish in '07.

I definately agree that Snead will be starting in 07 if VY stays. Either way, it should be easier for us to pick up the top QB in the state next year though, b/c tu is loaded if all stay as it is.
