Congrats... it wont hold though if USC wins out but a good milestone regardless.

USC still has another challenge: UCLA. That may be the game that bites them in the rear. Even Virginia Tech has some huge games with BC on Thursday and Miami the next weekend.

Texas has no-one. Us? HA!!!!! Everybody sleep in T+1. They are cruising right now.

yeah my point though is texas doesnt play anybody else all year (other than posisbly us and a big 12 championship game) and if usc wins out their sos will go up alot where texas' wont. VT can still catch them if they win out because of the sos. the only reason they jumped usc was because they moved tech up to high.

I think Bama or Georgia would jump both UT and Va Tech if they win out.

I think we should have a playoff for college football. What is the reasoning behind tu jumping over USC to #1? They are definately rolling, but USC definately hasn't lost in 2 years, so........ I don't know.

USC finishes the year against 3 ranked teams. If they win out, they will be #1. It doesn't matter though. It will be fun knocking off the #1 or #2 team in the BCS on T+1.

Texas is gonna get screwed by who they play if others go unfeated. I really think they are the 2nd best team (You can't be the man till you beat the man)

85whores, I think you're missing the point. Y'all are barely ahead of SC & VT isn't too far back. The computers figure in SOS. From here until the end of the season y'all's SOS is going to decrease. SC's & VT's SOS is going to increase. That means that if they continue to win, they will continue to gain ground on you, & maybe even pass you.
