this happened last weekend:
TCU and Charlotte combined for 63 runs, 78 hits and 16 homers – 14 by the Horned Frogs – in a wild Conference USA doubleheader Saturday.
Charlotte won the first game, 15-14, before TCU (26-13, 12-5) came back to hit nine homers for a 27-7 victory in the nightcap. The Horned Frogs had 47 hits in the doubleheader.
TCU's Austin Adams hit three homers – two in a nine-run ninth inning – in the second game. The Horned Frogs also scored nine runs in the first inning of the nightcap.
