You've got to love their Defense... They have shut down this high scoring Seattle offense and RB Shaun Alexander. If they play this well for the rest of the season, and the offense doesn't give up points with turnovers on the wrong side of the field and the 'Boys may go far in the playoffs. In my opinion, they're the most competitive team in the NFC and have my vote as the team that will represent them in Super Bowl XL in Detroit.

Maybe I spoke too soon, the D looked horrible on Seattle's last drive of the 4th quarter. The Boys have :40 to do something here in the end...but they looked bad.

Yep, as I said in my first post, unless your offense screws you over -- then you have a chance. Nice pass Bledsoe. I could've sworn you were wearing a Bills jersey when you threw that -- that's what I had to put up with all last year as a Bills fan. Bledsoe's been good to you so far, but this is the reason that the Bills decided to go with Losman.

Cortez official nickname is Mex-Dip and Chips. The Chips were stall today. They only get the job done half the time.

Sorry, but Bledsoe threw a horrible pass, and it cost them the game. Cortez missed a field goal -- but the offense was anemic. Even with the missed field goal, without Bledsoe throwing that pass, the game would've gone to OT and the 'Boys still could've won. Cortez messed up, but they lost because of Bledsoe's pass.

I dont' like Cortez that much -- the way he blames the holder everytime he misses one. Like, if it was a perfect hold, he'd never miss....

i don't blame cortez. i blame the offense for being horrible/playcalling. a thousand three-and-outs!!!!!?!?!?! even when the boys got the ball on the 9 and 12 after the two turnovers!!??!!? and why didn't they take their pride into OT like baylor did with us at the end of the game. wouldve been MUCH MUCH smarter.

A-freaking-men, I watched the 49'ers loose 6 or 8 games thanks to that DA. He needs to be put out to pasture.

For a second there, I thought Slocum was calling their defense at the end of the game. Up by 7 with lots of time left....sounds like a good time to ditch what was working and play some prevent D.

What my biggest problem is that Parcells has our speed backs in when we are at the 2 yard line and at the 12 when we had just gotten turn overs. What in the name of all hell are they doing in there instead of the A-Train who is known for being able to run north and south and over people. It's just stupid ass play calling and yes cortez and bledsoe both had equal parts in contributing to this game. Like my coaches always used to say, you let somebody hang around long enough and they'll eventually hit you where it hurts.

Thoroughly disgusted with this loss. Had it several times in the red zone and we didn't score. D played great for about 55 minutes, kind of like they did against the redskins :( . Cortez/Bledsoe, don't really know who to blame, it was a community effort to lose this game.
