So I was just bored out of my skull and decided to go to this message board for Cowboys fans on the FWST that i hadn't been to in like a year and there is a thread over there where a bunch of t-sips are saying that the cowboys need to draft Vince Young to play QB in dallas. Holy God i hope jerry jones isn't that stupid. Like i always say, he is a great college QB and a great athlete, but not in Dallas please please Jerry. I don't think i could watch his side arm BS passing mechanics. Anyways, don't know why i felt compelled to post this, but it was just driving me insane, so it looks like i won't be back over there for another year or so.

I'm a Cowboy fan and I do not like the idea of a running QB in the NFL. They are flashy and can get a team to the playoffs, but name one who has won consistently before they are all beat up.

Vick? Hasn't won all that much. McNeal? Didn't start really winning until he learned to be a complete QB.

Going back, Cunninghan? Nope, there were none.

John, you make a really great point. I was kind of flustered earlier when I was reading all of them longing over vince young and how amazing of a NFL qb he's gonna be. But I completely agree with you. McNabb has come the closest to winning the super bowl, but he is one tough SOB, and now he's got a hernia. I mean look at Vick, he could be a pretty freakin amazing QB but the fact that they must run and then pass allows a lot of opportunities for them to get hurt.
