I lived in Longview for four years (graduated from Longview Pine Tree HS), and I can say that Longview HS is a top-notch school. Recruits from there are pretty solid. The starting Frosh QB at Rice is from LHS and so is that TE at Florida who is like 6'7".

They play Evangel Christian every year (a private school in Louisiana that recruits athletes nationally), and Longview usually wins. My school was 4A and our coach wouldn't even let us scrimmage Longview because it would kill our confidence.
