FOXSports predictions (http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/story/3756322)
Houston Bowl: Texas A&M vs. Clemson(I would gladly welcome this rematch, especially with thier stud RB out)
Rose Bowl: USC vs. Texas(new BCS poll backs up this prediction)
Cotton Bowl:Texas Tech vs. Auburn(Good matchup)
Independence Bowl: Nebraska vs. Utah(Good chance for Nebraska to top off a much-improved season)
Holiday Bowl: Oregon vs. Colorado(Oregon would win this I think)
Alamo Bowl: Oklahoma vs. Wisconsin(Interesting matchup, I'd like to see this game)
Champs Sports Bowl: Boston College vs. Missouri(Mizzou would get blown away)
Fort Worth Bowl: Kansas State vs. Memphis(Two bad teams)
CBS Sportsline projections (http://www.sportsline.com/collegefootball/bowls/predictions):
Cotton Bowl: Texas A&M vs. Auburn(honestly, I'd rather us go to a lesser bowl and win)
Rose Bowl:USC vs. Texas(generic answer)
Fiesta Bowl: Texas Tech vs. Penn State(school that has never won an outright conference title in it's history in the BCS?)
Houston Bowl:Kansas State vs. Tennessee(Vols would win by even more than they did over us last year.)
Independence Bowl: Colorado vs. Maryland (easy win for Buffs)
Holiday Bowl: UCLA vs. Nebraska(a good game)
Alamo Bowl:Oklahoma vs. Minnesota(marquee RB matchup if AD is healthy)
Champs Sports Bowl: Georgia Tech vs. Missouri(Tigers get blown out)
Fort Worth Bowl:Houston vs. Baylor(Baylor would have thier first bowl win in a LOOOONNNGG time. There is no way that both Mizzou and Baylor have 6 wins, though)

actually tech won the border conference in the 30's so ha!
and what the hell does a conference championship have to do with our bowl?? especially if were 10-1 with our only loss coming to #1or2 texas......sorry but conference championship be damned.....if tech is in the top ten at the end ofthe season who are you to frown on what bowl we go to?

I don't think he was protesting it. Just saying that it's kind of weird to have a team make the BCS, yet has never won a conference championship. But as the saying goes, there's still a lot of football left.

Two years ago OU lost the conference championship game and still went to the Sugar Bowl to play LSU for the National Championship.

but like i said.....dre.....who care about what a team has done in the past ..... if they deserve it this year, then they deserve it. period. theyre not going to take into account how many conference championships, theyre going to say hey, texas tech is a one-loss team (losing to #2 texas) they have the #1 scoring, passing, and total offense in the nation....they deserve this at large spot. while we are #7 in the BCS poll now (we will fall with a loss to texas) but by the end of the season (assuming we win out) thats quality wins against teams like OU, tamu and baylor. we can be right back in teh top ten by then....fully deserving a BCS bowl....i remember two years ago they sent #13 FSU to a BCS bowl and last year they sent PITT of all people (god awful decision IMHO)

If Texas goes to the National Championship, that opens up a spot for the Big XII in the other BCS games...if not, then Tech won't go (that's my opinion)

I'd like to see the Aggies get it together and play Auburn, or any of the damned BigX teams, and see them kick butt.
I'm a Texas fan through and through, but I am also a Texan and would relish a chance to see some home state boys whoop some SEC/BigX ass.

but whats fun is....if tech beats texas but loses to tamu or OU....they can still get BCS....becaue they will still go to the CCG due to the fact that they won the head to head with texas
