There's no reason you can't be on ABC more than 5 times (especially since it's Regional)...Michigan is on ABC every week... I guarantee you if it that was the case, games like Mizzou and Colorado wouldn't be shown on ABC in case A&M and Tech were both ranked high.

This game was scheduled by ABC last summer. ABC and A&M had agreed to play on T+2 at 7:30PM, but Mack's cowardice has resulted in it being T+1 at 11:30AM. He flat out refused a prime time slot. If it weren't on TV, we could go back to Thanksgiving Day.

we know all of this, nothing new. In fact, whether we thought it or not, going into last year's game, tech SHOULD have beaten us too because our defense was not good AT ALL against the pass (although we had the liberty of being at home).

well of course we can't stop their offense. but i figured our game against them last year would be a shootout as well, but it wasn't at all. so i mean i dunno. all signs point too a shootout IF our offense shows up, so I agree that we would have to outscore them, which means what....70 to 69? I can only hope the Tech-A&M game is close enough that it comes down to only 1 or 2 turnovers. Our secondary scares me to the point that i'm not even sure it will matter.

To answer Red's original question, I don't think we beat either the raiders or the sips, no way our defense can slow down either of those teams. I made the above statement based on logic, because any logical person can see the huge mismatches based on our defensive performance to date, now having said that, as another poster pointed out, sometimes logic doesn't prevail in rivalry games and strange things happen, like all of a sudden your D plays lights out. This rivalry wildcard is, in my opinion, our only chance. BTW, for those that think tech isn't a rival, sorry but look around, they are a huge rival.

I agree with Maryland, Tech is our rival like it or not. They are not our only rival, but they are a rival...unless one team is way down then that game will be jockeying for position in the conference/bowl births. I have no problem calling them a rival, i think teams have more than 1.
