it's amazing what a great running game and turnovers do for the TOP :gig:

I'm glad my boy bennett finally got one in.

Lane train looks solid and his two LONG runs looked great!

Funny how when jaxson and marquis turned around they made interceptions.

Even though K-state isn't stout, if we are successful there on the road, we may actually be turning a corner! GOOD GAME AGS

im still not sold on the D, but if our offense can play this way throughout the rest of the year, we just might be able to finish strong. I guess we'll see after next week

I liked their aggressiveness though -- 7 turnovers is pretty dang good -- no matter who you're playing. We had a short field most of the time because of the kickoff returns were pushing into Aggie Territory.

I said it a long time ago...we need to make every game a shoot-out...first one to 60 wins. And if they didn't turn the ball over 7 times, that probably would've been what it took. OSU is just horrible & I love it. Man, I hope Goodson was in attendence today. It was also nice to see XLK & Tommy Devereaux all but get shut-out today...nice move, guys.

There were alot of turnovers. We can't do that against tech or tu

Stats from my perspective. Well, not mine actually -- I copied and pasted these from SLVRBK over on www.orangepower.com -- for what it's worth...

As to the what-if's

Cowboy turnovers and the results

1st qtr. - 10 points for A&M
Fumble at OSU 42 led to A&M TD
Fumble at OSU 30 led to A&M FG

3rd qtr. - 14 points for A&M
INT at A&M 2 led to A&M TD
INT in end zone A&M punt
Fumble at A&M 48 led to A&M TD

4th qtr. - 0 points
INT at A&M 35 led to A&M punt
INT at A&M 23 A&M runs out the clock.

I think the 3rd qtr TO's cost the Pokes 14 points and the 4th qtr TO's cost us a minimum of 3 points. Since we were able to move the ball against A&M and score in the first half, I will say the 1st qtr TO's cost us 10 points. By my reasoning TO's cost the Cowboys 27 points and led to 24 points for A&M.

Penalties

Pokes had 11 penalties for 85 yards, 3 of these resulted in A&M 1st downs and allowed them to continue drives. Penalties are killing us this year, how many drives have stalled because of them and how many times have we given our opponents drives life due to dumb penalties?

now these aren't my words, but they express my thoughts. It definately could have been a different game.
