<sigh> it would be nice to have someone who makes everyone around him play better. VY is definitely a HUGE key to their success, and not even his ability. He has changed the whole attitude of the team. He is a natural leader and he gets his players relaxed, and pumped up.

I'm not buying it. Like Fran said, it's easy to lead when the good times roll. Where was his leadership in 2003?

To Reggie's defense, he never lost his starting spot year.

To Reggie's defense, he never lost his starting spot year.

That could easily change if a few more losses come our way.

He also hasn't won any big games.

To Reggie's defense, he never lost his starting spot year.

Yes he did in 2002. Sad we have to go back so long to find a big win.

what about #1 OU?

VY was a RS freshman in 2003. Leadership takes time to develop. Reggie might have some better skills than VY, but their difference in leadership this year is amazing. VY knows he is going to win. Reggie looks like he is playing not to lose.

Reggie doesn't play like he doesn't want to lose. Its a matter of if he plays like he cares or not. He is like the Lakers when Shaq & Kobe were there--just flip on the switch at anytime you want. Okay, who do we play today...OSU? Yeah, I hate those guys, lets go kick their ass. I just hope he doesn't get cocky again after this week's performance. We are going to need him in his best form to win in Manhatten.

you mean when he only lost one game as a starter that year.

And that could be the understatement of the century

What, you don't think Reggie can get our team high and relaxed before a big game??

BTW, those Cotton Bowl locker rooms look like ****. My HS locker room was nicer than that.
