Okay, now the time is to ask -- is Penn State for real? I've always known that they've had a good defense, but I didn't expect them to be undefeated. They just beat Ohio State on National TV and looked good doing it. My question -- are they for real? Or can we expect a letdown when a team like Michigan State or Iowa comes calling?

Penn State's remaining schedule:
Sat, Oct 15 at (24) Michigan 3:30 pm
Sat, Oct 22 at Illinois 7:00 pm
Sat, Oct 29 Purdue TBA
Sat, Nov 5 (14) Wisconsin TBA
Sat, Nov 19 at (19) Michigan State TBA

4 of their next 5 games are against ranked teams or teams that were ranked including 2 on the road to the 2 Michigan teams. Who will they slip up against? Is it next week after this big win?

Wow, looking at their schedule, an 11-0 season is looking very possible. A stroke of pure luck is the only thing that could keep them from getting Auburned, though.

I don't see how Michigan, Wisconsin, Purdue and Michigan State look like sure W's...especially with an offense that does more disappearing tricks then a magician.

The only thing that will carry them is their defense, but I don't think they'll be 11-0. I wouldn't be surprised if they were 8-3. Either way, it's a good thing for Penn State.

They are screwed. I don't think there is that much room on the top for them. Maybe Notre Dame will beat SC next week. Maybe we'll beat Texas. HAHAHAHA!!!!!

I never said sure victories, I said "very possible." Big difference.

JoPa is the man. I'd like to see them win out and see him retire on top ;)

The definitely have some playmakers on offense :gig: I think they could do it. It won't be easy, but they have a legit chance

I think the road trips to Michigan and Michigan State or their biggest hurdles for an undefeated season. That being said, who the hell knows, they may get beat at Illinois.
