If you took the Ags to beat Colorado in this week's pickem contest, take one step forward. NOT SO FAST DUSTIN. You traitor. I am disapointed to see that you think that Colorado will beat us this weekend. I didn't know you were a closet Buffalo. :)

I hope the Ags win this week, Dustin ties for 1st, but loses the tie breaker. That will teach him to pick against the Aggies.

It's against my religion to pick against the Ags. I used my heart.

Rep up. I think if I didn't see this thread I would have forgot to enter the contest again. :undecided

But I'm in so sorry guys. Looks like I'll have to win this weekend.

Sweet, thanks for the rep. Only 14 more until I hit 150.

Since I won last week, I'll step aside and let someone else in. I picked the Ags, but it was a tough choice. I hope we win, but i'm not very confident.

I definitely hope we win. But there has been absolutely nothing that I have seen that would ever make me think that we will win.....and if our starting TB is out....well, its only getting worse. I hope to hell, that I miss winning by one & its because of this game that I don't win. I hope that we come out & prove to everyone that our only problem is that we play to the level of our competition. I'll be the first one to munch on a big ass plate of cold crow on Sunday morning. I, unlike most of you, chose to pick with what I've seen on the playing field rather than my heart.

Well the really bright side is that you now have a chance of winning those free tickets to the BigXII championship game :gig: , we have some golfers on the board, I think Dustin, Jag, also think Pflug and Vly, I know Vly used to work at a golf course.

Pinche, I can't argue with your logic about picking with your brain not your heart, I still can't pick against the Aggies, just a feeling we are due. I did want to say one thing, I disagree with you on something and I don't know if disagree is what I mean but on the starting RB possibly not playing and that making it worse, I wouldn't be so quick to say that, we might be pleasantly surprised, give the younger horses a chance. :)

Yes, that is the best part. Only problem is that it's during my exams, stupid law school

I tend to agree with you here, Lewis hasn't exactly blown me away. He's definitely talented but he hasn't really shown it yet, be it because of decisions he makes or whatever. Maybe if some others get some playing time, it will make him want it more and finally break it loose.

We did seem to have a lot more success at Clemson running Chris Alexander right up the middle as opposed to C-Lew. Is that because he is better, or is it because he went straight to the hole?

I will pick the aggies to win every game this season. If I didn't....I would have to transfer and kick my own ass.

Hey don't tell anyone....but I picked Nebraska to upset Tech....

I figure I haven't been winning so I need a game that most people won't pick

Ok maybe that was dumb....but it won't be when those cornhuskers rape them raiders!

WHO'S WITH ME?!?!?!..................<crickets chirping>

Picking against your favorite team is actually smart. If your favorite team wins, who cares about a pickem contest? If your favorite team loses, at least your one step up in the pickem. Either way, you win.

I'll say this again, like I always say.

We're not 0-4...we haven't played well, but we're 3-1. We've never shown up and not been in the game. Why would it start this weekend? You have to expect that we'll be in it until the end - and I have no reason to doubt that we can't come out on top.

We've played down to the competition so far, but still won 3 of those games. Now comes the road and a big test -- but I think we'll win and shock the Big XII people who've already written us off....

Haha, no. I'm in my last year so i really don't care that much. Actually i've never cared that much, i've got my priorities straight...college football is most important.

I think Jag should write some code in the contest that only allows Aggies to pick our opponent if the Ags are double digit underdogs.

I picked colorado, so I would have a reason to not shoot myself if we lose. If we win I won't care at all about this pickem :gig:

Or for that matter write some code that says if you pick against us you get a 0 for your total score.

But that should only apply to aTm fans. :) Myself, I don't feel bad for (correctly) picking against the Ags. I like the aTm fans having met several last year in Stillwater. But a pickem contest like all other contests are there for the competition. It isn't "the biggest homer" contest, it is an accuracy contest. That is why I picked against my Cowboys against Mizzou and Colorado. I want to win. Of course I'm not doing all the well in picking games outside the Big 12 for some reason.

I'm not looking forward to this week having a QB most likely having his first start against aTm on the road...

I usually get in the top ten or almost dead last. This week I'm almost dead last. It takes skill to miss that many games.
