Ags Back On Track?
Colorado celebrates homecoming this weekend as Reggie and company prepare to enter Folsom Field in a Saturday matchup with the Buffalos of Colorado. Which Aggie team will show up? Will it be the offense that slugglishly scored 43 on a Texas State squad? Maybe the defense that only allowed 13 points against Baylor? Aggie fans around the world are hoping for both.
The season has been to this point, shaky, for lack of better word. A 3-1 record is nothing to scoff at, but considering the ways in which A&M won, it's something to definitely be thankful for. Now, the Aggies get their toughest test of the young season when they take on the 3-1 Colorado Buffalos. Colorado's only loss so far this season was at the hands of Miami, 23-3.
Colorado has a history of playing A&M close, and that may work in the favor of the Aggies. Dangerous on offense, in spurts, the Aggies can score literally in seconds. Colorado, on the other hand, is a run-oriented team that pounds away at the defense. A&M's secondary to-date, has been questionable but the front 7 have done a reasonably decent job in stopping the run. So the question is, which will break first? The Aggie Defense or the Colorado Offense?
