I know we have looked pretty bad the last few weeks, but I don't think we should over react just yet. We are 3-1 overall and 1-0 in conference. A win is a win. Go back and look at our season in 1998. We started out losing a close game that we could have won against FSU. We then had some lack luster wins against La Tech, Southen Miss, and North Texas. This was capped off by trying our best to lose to one of the worst teams in the Big 12 that year (Kansas) in our conference opener. Read this press release from the Kansas game (http://www.aggieathletics.com/pressRelease.php?PRID=5766). The following week, we upset Nebraska and went on to win the Big 12.
I am by no means saying that we are going to win the Big 12. If we don't play better in the rest of our games, we could lose every one of them. But, now is not the time give up on this team. This might have been just the kind of win that our Ags needed. Our offense played their worst game of the year and our star QB had the worst performane of his career, but they didn't give up and we still found a way to win.

I'm not overreacting. Our team sucks and they always will. I can no longer support their suckage. I'm turning in my Aggie ring and going to another school to get a brand new diploma.

I'm not going to overreact, I'll never stop rooting for them even if they lose every game the rest of the season. I will admit, however, that they try my patience quite a bit. Won't overreact, but I can't promise that I won't get angry at them the rest of the season ;) , I get over it quick though. I think Dre is in one of her belligerent (sp?) moods, you all know she is an aggie to the core! :gig: Here is to stepping back, taking a deep breath, and BTHOCU!

If the Ags come out flat against CU it will be a long night.

The thing I think is gonna help us against cu, is that they don't have a really big passing game. If we can key on stopping their run on defense and just not allowing big pass plays, and of course the O rebounds from the worst offensive game since the debacle in Norman of two years ago, we'll BEAT THE HELL OUTTA cu!

Damnit, P-ville. I had just convinced myself that we suck, Fran is overhyped, our recruiting classes were overhyped, & that we weren't going to win another game this year. Then you have to go & pull this **** outta your ass & get my hopes up for the 4th time this season. If I get let down again, I'm blaming it all on you & your eternal optimism. [inside joke]Don't forget, if we'd gone undefeated the last 4 seasons, we'd be 4-time defending champions.[inside joke] ;)

I don't have a ring to turn in, so I guess I'll have to keep being a fan :(

Oh, I would never turn in my ring, bro....I'm always an Aggie fan. But I'm also a realist. If this team isn't playing to the level of their competition (which we'll find out this weekend) then its going to be a long season.
