For future evacuations, the following procedure will be followed
for the city of Houston and all surrounding areas:
Hispanics: Use I-10 West to San Antonio, then I35 SouthWest to Mexico
Cajuns: Use I-10 East to Lafayette
Rednecks: Use 59 North to East Texas
Democrats: Use 45 South to Galveston
Longhorns: Use 290 West to Austin
Red Raiders: (You all still live in West Texas anyway, so disregard)
Aggies: Use 610 Loop

Yeah, they did. I'd venture to say that it would've been difficult to attach the boards to the brick facade and thus opted for them on the inside to at least protect the store from the rain and wind as much as they could.

I called Loupot's today and asked about that. It seems that the Loupot's has aluminum frames around the windows on the outside and didn't want to drill/nail through it, so they put it on the inside..
