Strong safety Rodney Harrison, the heart of the New England Patriots' secondary and long regarded as one of the league's most aggressive players at the position, will miss the rest of the season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.

Three sources confirmed the severity of the knee injury, suffered in the first quarter of Sunday's 23-20 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. There could be ancillary damage beyond the ACL as well. The team almost certainly will place Harrison, 32, on the injured reserve list.

Other Injuries this week include Takeo Spikes LB Bills gone for the year and Akers K for Eagles not playing for next week

I read on the ESPN BottomLine that Harrison tore his ACL, MCL, and PCL. All three ligaments in the knee are in shreads. That sucks. There goes the Pats for a 3-peat. The Colts or Eagles will win it this year. Although I think Cincy (yes Cincy) will make a run against the Colts for the AFC. Carson Palmer looks like a hoss right now. As long as Chad Johnson doesn't get banged up they are good to go.
