I think compared to last years AWESOME line we are mediocre, but i would go as fas as to say we have a worse OL than Baylor or Iowa State... i think it is just the popular thing in the media to underestimate our line... the people who ranked this probably didnt even look at the players or their previous stats, just saw that we lost 5 good players....

Exactly. We have Schneider and a bunch of unknowns. With OL more than anything else, it is assumed that experience is crucial.

WTA, your mention of Yemi Babalola lead me to this good analysis of the Aggie OL on 08-06-2008. :rep:
The O-line is not depleted. Its inexperienced. That being said, it would be looking pretty damn good had Yemi not turned into a thug. Schneider is a first day pick come April. Schumard, Grimes, & Frost were all highly touted coming out of high school. Matthews is unproven, but the bloodline is there. And the RSfish & true fish are making a splash early. The O-line has the potential to be very good if they live up to their potential. ...
