Of the 12 players in the league.... I know 8 are in the USAF with me... and a 9th is Kag from above... The other 3 I don't know, but TexasGoat is a pretty good guy & another friend of mine MIGHT, join the league with UGA or Oregon in season 2.

We try to advance every Wed, Fri & Sunday.

Most of the guys in this league are Married, have kids or both... So we understand if more time is needed, just give a heads up if it is needed if you join.

Just not something we want to happen on a consistent basis... We'd like to keep it going.

We are also nearing the end of Season 1... We are in the Week before the A&M/tu game!!!!:gig:

So obviously you'd be behind the curve with some things, but come season 2, you'd be able to start ground zero like the rest of us!

Consider yourself the new coach & the AD for which ever school you choose, fired the old guy & now your in-charge, getting ready for your 1st season as HC!!!!! :gig:

couple of questions on how the dynasty works online:

If I don't have time to play my game, can I just Sim the game to move on to the next week?

Can I pick any team in the listed conferences?

If u can't play, you can set it to sim by setting ur profile "ready to advance". And yes, you can choose any team from the Big 10, Big East, and Pac 10 that is not already taken.

One other thing.

For User vs User games, we have 1 rule. In Qtrs 1,2, and 3 on 4th down, you have to get in punt/kick formation if its u have 5 or more to go! U can go for a fake, but it's gotta be out of that formation or u can just kick the FG or Punt it. If it's 4yds or less on 4th down, u can go for it.

In the 4th quarter, u can go for it on 4th down regardless of distance.

Against the CPU, we do prefer the same rules but have no way of knowing if it is followed so we use the honor system.

Also if u restart ur game without a valid reason, I will throw out that score and simulate the game, letting the CPU decide the winner.

Losing to the CPU and a Star Player getting injured are not valid reasons. Sorry, just want to be fair.

The Illinois guy just lost to Ohio State and had to suck it up. LOL!!!!!!

There was originally a Wake Forest player, he won a few big games for Wake especially one over FSU.

But yeah, you have clear sailing to a BCS Bowl... I have to beat tu, to get an At Large bid to the Rose Bowl or to the Fiesta Bowl.

Your 1st game is against Stanford, who is 3-8... Your team is 3-7. I know.. rough year.. But the only other User in the Pac 10 uses Washington, so both you & him should be able to shift the balance of power to the two of you.

The CPU recruiting was atrocious. 75% of my recruits had already visited campus, and all of them gave a rating of C or lower for the visit. I was able to salvage the rest that were able to visit during my last home game and get good visits with them.

It is going to be a long season next season trying to get to a bowl and get decent recruits.

By the way i was able to do my last week of regular recruiting last night.

1 thing that has me concerened though, is what I saw in OU's recruiting.

They had 14 Committs, going into Conf Champ Week, they now have 11.

These were the Hard Committs that were ready to sign. I had never seen a HC flip flop like that before.

yea it looks as if he does everything with white...white leads the team in rushing & nearly leads the country in passing...i think we are playing tonight. Last night i looked at some of his stats to attempt to get a grasp of what i was in store for.

the assumption i came up with is that he does a lot of rolling out with white & since no one can run him down and stay up with him, he either passes it or just goes ahead and runs it everytime.

i hope its that simple....that would be easy to stop.

I have you, Illinois & WVU playing each other...

Illinois just barely beat Washington (CPU Team) in the Rose Bowl & lost to Ohio State (CPU Team) a few weeks ago.

WVU... well it's hard to say... he's played nothing but CPU players... Once he plays Kag well have a better grasp on how good he is.


Plus you honestly have the Western US locked up in recruiting. Everyone else in Central US & Eastern US battling each other for recruits.....

Also... SHould the worst happen & you do lose to both Users... You can still beat all the CPU Pac-10 teams & still make the Rose Bowl, which could very well line you up with a rematch with Illinois.

Now that I think of it... I might switch Illinonis & ND with the set up... I wouldn't want you to have to play the same guy twice... once in the regular season & again in the Bowl Game.

Yeah but I thought I had him locked up... I had been #1 on his board the whole year. No one else had really gone after him & I was hoping the CPU would take into consideration how much time I spent on him...

Have a minor problem. I had to stay late at work last night, and did not log onto the dynasty. Im not sure if the OU guy attempted to reach me or not. But, tonight I am obviously taking the kids out so i wont be on until late, and tomorrow the wife is running a race in the morning so i also wont know what time i will be on.

Will we be getting any extra times to play the game since it is a user vs user and a holiday, it may be tough to get hooked up with each other.

We are still stuck on Week 1 due to TexasGoat's Work Schedule... He works from 4pm to 10pm & controlls ND. But the WVU lives up close to Langley AFB so he is on Eastern Time, so hopefully they will play today.

Your game against OU is good to go & I know the OU guy personally. He is real cool about setting up times... Send him a friend request if he hasn't already sent you one. He's really cool & adding him as a friend will make it easier to see when each of you is on & to coordinate.
