The sip Olympic athletes are really performing well. A couple of golds in swimming and Osterman pitching a no hitter last night in softball.

One swimming gold came on the coat tails of Phelps, in a relay. As the announcer said, "My mother could anchor this relay team and still win."
Otherwsie, yes, it's good to hear our state's name mentioned a few times.

that one gymnast chick lives in tx as well... it was shown every time she was doing one of the events.

Yeah, the trap shooter from Katy, and a coupla the male gymnists are from around Houston (I think the guy name Raj may also be from Katy).

Texans generally do well in the Olympics. Carl Lewis is a Houstonian and Michael Johnson went to Baylor.
