You may have a hard time getting on a team on here. They are all pretty much set with high level players that have been playing at least 2 seasons. I would suggest playing in the D league and then one of the Aggiefans teams can pick you up in a couple of seasons when we start thinking about putting in new players when current ones start to decline. There are some people with players on Aggiefans Legion of Doom that have just started players in the D league.

Good advice. The other good thing about Dleague is nobody really cares if you win so it is a good place to put a guy for developing (you can hold off on assigning skill points in order to max out the benefit of training).

I've got a level 5 WR in the d league sitting on 35 skill points that I won't invest until he's ready for an aggie-owned team.

Also, look around at some of the threads on player development. For a LB, you need to be all about speed, agility, and vision early on, then work on things like strength and tackling later on. It doesn't matter if you have the ability to tackle a guy if you are too slow to get to him.

Just like real football. You want to start out with the natural abilities. Things you can't coach...speed, agility, things like that. Later, work on the "football" skills.

From a guide...

Linebacker
1) Speed max {+all equip)
2) Agility max
3) Train vision, then get it up around 40
4) Train Strength/Tackling

Alright. Looks like I need to change my workouts. I was focusing on tackling first. Looks like speed and acceleration are too important to wait.
