Honestly.. I believe that if LSU wanted to, they could go Goal Line & just plow App St.

They have the depth & the RB's to do it,

But since they wont, I think App St. could hang with them... Win??? Who knows...

I don't know....but it became a game when Perriloux was dismissed. There might be a point in that 3rd Quarter where App St. is hangin' tough and LSU is going to look around the bench for someone to lead or make a play and they won't find a QB who has taken a big-time snap. That would be the only thing that would scare me if I was an LSU fan

couple things to remember:
-the Big House never gets loud like Death Valley will
-App St. was Michigan's first game...they've never had the killer instinct with a team early in the season that I can remember since...the Nat'l Champ. season
-Michigan had no defense, LSU WILL!
-Michigan did have a better offense on paper than LSU will
-App St. started to believe halfway thru the Mich game...they will believe from the first snap this year
-Mich struggled with Ball State @ HOME the year before
-App St.'s QB is the biggest wildcard in this game...this game is on his shoulders. If you took him vs. whoever LSU's going to run out on that field, APP ST. ADVANTAGE

And I have to harp on this.... Tulane hung tough with LSU last year... While Tulane is not as bad as Ball State, Mich was not as good as LSU...

I'd bet you they drop out of the Top 15 at least...

If they lose, I say they drop down to #20 or somewhere along those lines...

Keep in mind LSU has QB issues so dropping them will be easy because more than likely, it will be tough for them to move back up the rankings with their QB's.

App State is playinhg dumb. Had LSU in a 4th and 5 but the DB did a stupid personal foul (after the play) and gave them an automatic first down. They scored a TD on it and are now down 14-0. Need a stop on this drive, or it's going to be a blowout.

I think the time effects both teams equally...but I think the heat of the day hits app state the most.

That being said I don't think it matters...LSU is too big and fast.
