Here is a quote from Parcells to his D-coordinator, Zimmer

Parcells had already told defensive assistants to prepare for every eventuality. One of the offseason tasks given to defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer was to get familiar with the 3-4 defense.

"He is familiar now because he spent all winter to get familiar with it," Parcells said. "I said, 'Don't tell me about what you don't want to do. Be prepared to do whatever I tell you because it's not going to be a suggestion at some point in time for what we do.' "

It looks like the Cowboys drafted the personel to make the switch, so if this indeed what will happen, I have a question. Why would you keep Zimmer, if you are going to make the switch to the 3-4, why not go out and find an expert on it. RC Slocum comes to mind, RC is a 3-4 genius. Let me say that I'm not advocating or wishing anyone to be fired, all I'm saying is if you drafted the personel, are going to make the change, and have invested a lot of money in the personel, why not go and get an expert to run the thing? BTW, I thought Parcells words were a bit harsh, kind of like a dictator

Ha, i wouldget a kick out of RC being the cowboys DC. I think he'd be better suited as LB coach and co DC.

Parcells is that kinda guy, harsh and compliment are the same thing much of the time

All i'm gonna say is that I have a bad feeling about Dallas switching to a 3-4. We've won how many Super Bowls with a 4-3? Oh yeah i think it's 5! Which would be tied for the most victories with the 49'ers correct? MAN BOOBS is ruining the franchise.
