If we pull that off.... I say LOD has a :rep: party for setting what should be GLB record for most points scored at any level by any team ever!!!!!!!!

I know we're not too worried about a game plan, but what is it? I think our goal should be to win by more points than anyone has. What is the best way to get there? Go long all day & blitz?

I know on Defense I am not changing anything we do...

In all honesty... I haven't changed our Defensive Set up at all over the last 15 games...

Considering we have only given up more than 21 points only 4 times during that time... I think I have found something that works & plays to the strengths of our players on Defense...

Offensively, txags92 is running that show.

If I do change anything... it Might, and it's still not very often, I might adjust the Blitz %....

I don't think we should get too cocky, or look to pad the stats too much.

My goals:

Defense - Shutout & increase our pass rush (hurries/sacks)
Offense - balanced play with no turnovers

Well they have given up alot more TDs rushing than passing, but I can't see how their CBs would be able to hang with our fast WRs. Most of the long TDs have come on outside running plays. I already set us up heavily weighted towards long passing and outside runs, but if you want I can really go overboard and put us at like 80% passing, 20% outside running and make passing 90% long and 10% medium. I already turned off the auto adjust because I don't want it to start running the ball into the line once we are up by a couple of TDs. On defense, my guys are all set to cause fumbles and go for INTs. I don't think there is any risk of any of their guys outrunning our defense.

no turnovers

I tried to go with bigger font to foot stomp this more.... but 4 is the biggest it goes...

No Turnovers is KEY!!!!!

Oh yeah...on defense, keep in mind that once we get up by a few scores, the auto is going to start making them throw the ball alot. So it is probably worth it to set most players towards pass defense. Tell the DL to pin their ears back and go for it.

I like it! Go Deep -- but if rushing it what has scored against them, I might not slant it so much.

Back-Ups should get PLENTY of playing time in this game...

I think the fact that rushing has scored so much reflects teams leaving the auto adjust on and having the CPU start rushing all the time after they get a lead. That team is so weak, our offense may never see the field with Python returning every punt for a TD.

having a RB on the team, I would like to see more than 20% rushing...but whatever is best for the team. :gig:

Right now I think I have it set 50/50. If people really want to try to hang 200+ on them, we are going to have to do more passing, but I don't really care one way or the other personally.

I have turned off the auto adjust though, so hopefully it will stick with whatever set for settings.

I want the 200 points -- for no good reason really -- just want to see the reaction of the posters. That, and it would be kind of cool to have LOD holding a GLB record.

I don't think scoring 200 is a reasonable goal. I think we don't change anything and just see what happens. It's a surefire win...

We win 199-0.

Its reasonable...somebody else already scored 189 on them this season. We have the tools to do it, its just a question of do we want to deliberately try to score that many points.

Ok, here it is...we are going 50/50 pass run, auto adjust off. We are running outside most of the time, because that is where people are getting long TD runs against their defense. We are passing long mostly with some medium and a few short routes. That way everybody gets a shot at the glory and we hopefully have the best chance to rack up a bunch of points. All that assumes that our offense gets to see the field, since I fully expect Python and sprott to have a field day returning punts (assuming we don't intercept or force a fumble before 4th down). Lace up the track shoes and lay off the hookers and blow tonight...you will need all your energy for the endzone dancing.

That is all.
