Level 24 Upgrades

Level 24 upgrades are on the horizon for A LOT of our players. For those unaware, equipment upgrades cost $50,000 each -- $200,000 total.

Obviously, we can't afford to pay for the whole equipment upgrade for everybody. With that said, we want to help you out.

Here's what I need. For anybody over Level 20 and that has trained on RELAXED the entire time, send me a PM with your level, your current XP status (ex: 180/1000), how much cash you have.

If you didn't train on relaxed (like we asked you to), then I can't use you in the "general survey"... what I'm trying to figure out is the general state of the players, how much cash will be needed, etc. We may have to do upgrades in waves, or just pay for half of it -- or something -- that's what we need to figure out.

Again, send me a PM with your players and their information requested above ONLY if you've trained on relaxed or not.

Just looking at how fast my guys are moving up and how far til 24, I doubt any make it there before the end of the season. I also have to seriously question whether 50K per point is worth it. Maybe it is...but I can't convince myself of that yet. We might be better off starting to train our upper level guys on intense or normal instead of buying the equipment upgrades. It might turn out to be a better deal. I will try to do the math tonight if I get a chance.

After reviewing some salaries and where people stand, here's my suggestion (pending Pum's approval).

At Level 23, we will send you a $100K signing bonus (the max allowed) and a daily salary of $3000. Essentially, we're going to pay for 2 points up front and then help you get to the other 2 points faster. It's too much of a financial drain (for probably very little benefit) to pony up $200K on the spot for 47 players (100K is still 4.7 million -- we have just over $5 mill currently).

My assumption is you will have at least $50K saved (of daily salary) by the Level 24 upgrade, so you'll be able to get 3 points right then and there. If that drains you down to zero, then it should only take 13 days (7 games) to get the last $50K.

Any problems seen with this? Thoughts by the players?

I think Moses Hall is the closest on the team to 24. He just turned 22 and has 37K in the bank already. It is probably going to take him close to 9-10 days to get to 23, and 11-12 to get to 24. At 2K daily salary, he should have nearly 80k in the bank by the time he hits 24. I am fine with 100k, but would almost prefer to see the team pay less. The pts just aren't going to add up to that much by the time our guys are level 24. Most players will have gone through another off-season and will boost to get there.

we have been adding additional seating to the stadium almost every day.... i am sure we will continue to do that since all of the remaining home games are currently sold out. pretty much as fast as we have added new seats each day, they are being purchased the next day....

Those should be built within the next 2 days (counting today).

After that... There is nothing else we can add until next season...

How much revenue will 560 seats produce vs. building them? If the team is this popular why not raise concessions a bit and get some more cash flowing? I am just wondering and not trying to point any fingers on the money front.

Not much... On average.. the ticket sales have been able to replenish what we spend....

But selling those 560, is not going to solve any problem that will arise from the team reaching Lvl 24 almost all at once... which is something not only LOD is facing... Quite a few owners are facing this problem..

Even Stobie who has $13 Million in the bank (compared to our $5 Million) is looking for ways to lighten the blow of the Lvl 24 Upgrades...

i am guessing most of the players who are getting close, probably will barley get to level 23 this season and wont go above level 24 until boosting in the off-season.... hopefully they all get to level 23 so they can get to 26 and not have to receive even less xp for training and games and wait even longer to get eventually get up to level 26.....

I wouldn't worry so much about Stamina as I would about tackling. If you aren't getting close to 70 energy at the end of games, stamina isn't really a problem.

Unless your player is in the low 70s at the end of a game, there is very little reason to raise your stamina when there are so many other more important attributes you could be working on.

i havent touched stamina all season long except for a few games ago, when ZA hit level 23. that game, he got down to 72-73 in energy and i added 1point to stamina... after today's game in which he played in 60 plays, he got down to 77 in energy.... i dont intend on wasting any skills points on stamina, nor have i ever "wasted skills points on stamina". i only add when necessary....
