what is the deal with the amount of xp our players are getting in games? after today's game, my players did the following with respect to xp...

LARD ASS - gained 160 xp in 39 plays
CORN FED - gained 158 xp in 38 plays
ZAK ATTAK - gained 166 xp in 56 plays

basically, that means LA and CF gained 4.1 xp per play and ZA gained 2.96 xp per play..... also, at this rate, it will take around 6 games for each of my players to gain 1000 xp in order to level up, not counting the measly 30 xp my players are currently getting on training days... the first 2 seasons, it seemed like our players were leveling up ever 2-3 games with training...

does anyone have any info on why our players are now receiving much lower xp? i assume it has to do with being higher in level, but i would think that is something the glb mods need to take a look at.... people will lose interest if their players are not getting higher in level and they do not have much to do with improving their players throughout the season......

I thought I read somewhere that the higher level you are, the less xp you get.

That is correct... Mark Dodge played 59 plays & only gained 168 points of XP...

so basically, most of LOD players will only level up 1 time this season through training and game PT and potentially even less in future seasons......

also, with that being said, why would OL receive more xp/play than ZA did at CB and dodge as LB?

From what I have read... that is a very strong possibility... But it is something they intend on working out...

With Players being able to play up to 10 Seasons... At this rate players will stop gaining experience by Season 5 & thus no longer go up in levels... which would make the last 5 years of their legit activity become boring...

But for Daily Training, this is the scale that has been posted...

Here is a quick and useful points/Level calculator:

Level Calculator

1: 100 XP per day
2: 96 XP per day
3: 92 XP per day
4: 88 XP per day
5: 84 XP per day
6: 80 XP per day
7: 76 XP per day
8: 72 XP per day
9: 68 XP per day
10: 64 XP per day
11: 60 XP per day
12: 56 XP per day
13: 52 XP per day
14: 48 XP per day
15: 44 XP per day
16: 40 XP per day
17: 36 XP per day
18: 32 XP per day
19: 28 XP per day
20: 24 XP per day
21: 20 XP per day
22: 16 XP per day

The In Game Experience Scale is roughly the same but several factors go into it....

There is a cap on game experience that kicks in at around 40 plays. So below 40 plays, everybody gets the same exp/play. Above 40 plays, you get nothing. They instituted that to encourage teams to use their backups more by taking away the incentive to have their starters play 80 plays per game. That is why I have said all along, if you are playing 35-40 plays per game and are not going below 80 energy at the end of the game, you don't need more stamina. It may get you more plays, but beyond 40 plays, you get no experience for it. So as a team it is better if everybody plays at least 40 plays. If one guy ups his stamina and gets 50 and the backup gets 30, it is bad for the team because the backup didn't get max exp for the game. If everybody is getting at least 40, we are doing all we can exp-wise.
