Ags Softball - Big 12 Champs Soon

A&M is 12-2 in league action. The Aggies need to win only two of their final four games to claim its first regular season title in the Big 12.

While A&M was making hay against Tech, the Oklahoma Sooners (42-12, 10-5) were losing twice to eighth-place Kansas, while the Texas Longhorns (34-9, 8-4) were beaten by Iowa State for the first time in school history. The Cyclones won 1-0 in a nationally-televised game.

A&M can clinch at least a tie for the title by beating Texas on national television Wednesday night.


I don't care too much about softball, but I think I may tune into this one...Go Ags!

The lady's go for the outright Big 12 Championship when they travel to take on #19 Missouri Saturday. The game is scheduled for 2 PM. The ladies just need one more win in their final 3 games (or combination of losses from Texas, Oklahoma and Baylor) and they win outright.

The girls lost to Mizzou, but still claimed the Big 12 Regular Season Championship because Oklahoma and Baylor both lost.
