I was gonna do this via PM's... But that was going to be overly Time Consuming...
So here are just some suggestions... Nothing more...
txags92... Chime in on any of these Offensive Player Suggestions.
QB's... Built almost to perfection... one thing though... They could stand to hit the weight room a bit... Nothing along the lines of O'Line or D'Line strength, but between 30 & 35 strength by seasons end would be great... Otherwise I can't find anything wrong with either build. :gig:
RB's... This is a Fast as Hell Stable.... But if ya'll could get our Carrying & Strength as close to 30 as possible that might help... Everything else, Agility, Speed, Catching, Stamina & so on are all perfectly fine. :gig:
WR's... Only thing I can think of is getting Catching & Vision about as even as possible & building em up side by side... Nigel, if you could hit the track, that'd be great... Try & get your speed up between 50 & 55 speed if possible by season's end...
TE's... Rod & Tellus both need to try & get our speed close to 45 by season's end, over 45 is possible. Magic Man... your our "Tweener", so as we talked about in a PM, try & build him up 1/2 WR, & 1/2 TE... :gig:
OT's ... All of em seem pretty good to me (txags92 might have more input).... :gig:
G's... Same as OT. :gig:
C... Deepsnap could spend some time with Weights & get his strength up a bit... Cody, might need Contacts.. his vision is a bit down... :)
************************************************** *********************************
DE... This one is a tough one to read... They are built some what differently, and yet all produce at a very similar amount... I wont pretend to know which way is the best to go about impoving any of them, so to all... Keep up the good work...
DT... All built good... Strength, Tackling & Agility are key for all 4... :gig:
LB... If Wrecker & WhoDat can get their speed as close to 40 by season's end that'd be great... I'll try to get Pum & Dodge's speed up to about 50 by season's end... Rock is doing great. :gig:
CB... Sprott & Carpenter.. We need to try and get them to about 55 speed at least by season's end.... The other 3 CB's are doing great. :gig:
FS... Pinetar, if you could get close to 50 speed that'd be cool... Vly I'd just recommend getting his Agility up a bit... around 30 by season's end..
SS... Both are coming along nicely... Agnlaw once your guy hits 50+ speed, try & get his Agility up to as close to 30 as possible by seasons end... Domingo, Great Job. Keep up the good work.... :gig:

agree on both the RBs and DE.
I've been having a hard time figuring out where to put my points for DE...but seems to be working ok for Cart Hunter...I WOULD like to see his sack #s go up though...
Blazing's points (as previously mentioned) will continue to go to strength, carrying, and catching (since he's being thrown to more). :gig:

I am having a hard time with my DE as well. My speed is at 50, my strength at 45, and I can't seem to get any production. I think part of it is the fact that being the RDE puts me against the LT, which is the toughest player on the OL, but I haven't done squat the first two games.

I think they have been tweaking the sims again, because last season the DL was MUCH more active than season 1, and this season we seem to be back to less action. We did have 11 hurries this game but no sacks. Rod Saddler ended up with 4 tackles this game...all of which were TFL, but had no hurries or sacks. I think our results speak for themselves. Even if our DL isn't getting the stats, we are shutting down the running game and making life difficult for the QB.

With this being the Practice Field & Weight Room...
Just wanted to say I think our stamina as a whole is pretty well set for now... :gig: No one finished the game under 74 Energy! :gig:
And the only reason the offensive players were slightly more tired was because of how they dominated the Time of Possession...

Whodat's speed is now 40.89. I spent most of my skill points and equipment upgrades to get him there. I'm going to buy some more flex points for the custom equipment upgrade.

:gig:
With that done... If you can catch up to the Starting LB's in speed, that would be great... The less drop off between starter's & back-ups, the better. :gig:

Seem's Gravy is making a push for that starting RB Job... Guess he want's it back...
Should be interesting to see how this plays out as the season goes on...
I love how there is little to no drop off in our depth chart! :gig:
Having guys who can play this good at the same time, is MUCH better than having 1 guy who can play good & 2 or 3 who can't...

gravy needs to up his strength & carrying abilities so he doesn't fumble so much (as I'm doing the same to blazing)...

what about fullbacks?
What about em???
I've said it before... they are the standard for all of the other Positions to Strive For...
1 guy comes out, the other guy produces at the same level with no drop off...
Both of them are ahead of several O'Linemen in Pancakes & they produce in the rushing game also... Just enough to give our HB's a breather...
I have yet to see them get beat & give up a sack.. I could be wrong, but I haven't...
The competition/slight rivalry that O'Hara & Oliver had last season, has turned them both into a Deadly tandem...:gig:
I have not complaints or suggestions... Honestly I created a FB myself that is on Stobie's team... I am trying to model him after O'Hara & Oliver. :gig:

Well Whodat's speed and agility came into play on one kick off where he made a sudden change in direction and accelerated into the returner stopping him dead in his tracks.:gig: Don't know if he makes that play with the speed he had before I boosted him.

I really wish the HBs would up their catching. Lots of drops by them & lots of times its in the open field.

Freaky thing is, my experiment WR (on another team) has catching at 33 and keeps making drops anyway. Holland (LOD) is lower (29) and almost never drops.

I decided to boost (yeah, I spent money on this game)...waiting to get my flex points so Vly Rock will be up 3 levels, plus the level 16 bonus, so 20 XP coming his way soon.

I really don't know how else to explain it....
http://goallineblitz.com/game/flex_points.pl (http://goallineblitz.com/game/flex_points.pl)
Boost your player's skills by leveling him up. Each player may only be boosted by a maximum of 3 levels per season. Your player's XP will stay at the same spot. Price is the same as the player's creation cost (100 - 300 points) per level.
Vlyrock
06-18-2008, 07:36 AM
Boosting will knock you up a level and give you the 5 XP skill points you would have gotten had you waited. Also, it does not reset your current status -- so if you're 988/1000, you'll still be that after boosting.

I believe blazing is 2nd in the team in # of receptions & only has one drop...
additionally, I think p'ville is the only other HB with a drop

Two drops by HBs and the 2nd string QB starts talking smack. Maybe McGee should work on his throwing so there are less incomplete passes. ;)

exactly...if you look at most of the passes, they are behind the line, scramble type throws (last resort)...probably a little rushed...
and aren't most of the drops thrown by one QB? That would be an interesting stat to look at...

300 Flex will boost you up 1 Level for a WR...
If you want to Boost up 3 Levels, then you will need 900 Flex Points...
The cost it takes to create a player, is the cost it takes boost 1 level...
Some positions are more costly than others...

3 HBs combined for 16 drops last year. That was more than all the WRs combined & obviously, the WRS had many more balls thrown their way. Now teach your guys to learn how to catch.

No, they were forced throws to the TEs & WRs because Jerrod knew the HBs would drop em.

We were in transition last year from a Run 1st team in Season 1, to a more balanced team in Season 2....
QB's weren't use to using their Arms & we had to spell out the phrase Route Running for our WR's, TE's & HB's....
It was a work in progress... This year it should all come together...
Wait... Why does this all sound so familiar.... ;)

FS... Pinetar, if you could get close to 50 speed that'd be cool... Vly I'd just recommend getting his Agility up a bit... around 30 by season's end..
Hate to jinx it, but Vly Rock is a beast now after the boost... I am no longer the weakest link on the defense! :gig:

Sweet... Lvl 19 FS... :gig:
Never thought I'd see the day... ;)
One thing though... Now that you have everything else On Point... Look into his Strength... Close to 25 would be good for this season... :gig:
