Down 2-0 going into the 5th. Gibson was about 4 feet from a home run. Instead, she had a double and got stranded. It's kind of like the first game against Florida. One person on the other team is killing us. Hope we learn how to hit this lefty and quickly.

We won the Big 12 Conference Championship, Big 12 Tournament, and are in the finals of the WCWS. You don't accomplish all of that without scoring runs.

asu has good pitching and the most potent offense in the ncaa. they are a VERY tough team.

I hate to say and and really hope I'm wrong, but I think the season ends tonight. Us having a left hand hitting dominant lineup is a huge disadvantage against ASU's left handed pitcher. Nine of our 11 K's last night were from our left handed batters. I just don't see us doing much against her tonight. Man, I sure hope I'm wrong.

It's up to Gibson. If she can hold them to 1 run or less, we win. If they get 2+, I think we're toast.

We don't have a single switch hitter on the team. 6 of starters are left handed batters even though most throw right handed.
